Daens: The Musical - Visuals & Concept art

Daens The Musical by Studio 100 is one of the projects I was able to work on during my time at KING Concept. The musical uses cutting-edge technology including 8 massive LCD screens 7 by 4 meters each, who are programmed to drive around from one position to another. The audience takes place on 8 moving grandstands, which are programmed as well. The musical tells the true story of Adolf Daens, a Catholic priest in Aalst who strives to improve the miserable working conditions in the local factories in the 19th century.
I worked on the visuals shown on the LCD screens, and on the concepts for several decor pieces. This was one of the larger productions I've worked on so far, and it was immensely satisfying so see the end result.
